Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)

Q: How long does the battery needs to recharge?

A: Depending on the size of your micro RC helicopter, this will be 10 minutes for very small ones up to 2 hours for bigger helicopters.

Q: How to charge the battery?

A: This depends on your model. Some are shipped with an adapter. Others can be charged by USB. Then there are also remote controllers with a build-in charger. In this case you can find a wire hidden inside the remote controller.

There are also helicopters with a replaceable battery. Some remote controllers shipped with it have a small cabinet to place this battery. Others come with a separate charger.

NOTE: In case of charging with a USB  adapter: Check the adapter supplies 500 mA! Otherwise the battery will loose power after just a dozen of charges.

Q: Do I need to buy a remote control?

A: When a product is indicated "ready to fly" (RTF) these are shipped with the micro RC helicopter. This is handy because you don't need to switch crystals to switch between controlling helicopters all the time. In case of an infra-red controller you need to pull the power lever all the way up and down to pair it with the helicopter(s).

Q: Is a Micro RC Helicopter easily damaged?

A: Although a micro RC helicopter consists of many small plastic parts, especially around the main axis, they are very robust. A micro RC helicopter can resist falling from great heights. If you have a carpet you definitely don't need to be afraid of damage by falls. Hitting something with the blades may cause some damage, but even when 25% of your blades has been shaved off they will generate enough lift. Be careful however with crashing to the ceiling, as this may demolish the stabilizer mechanism.

Many RC helicopter manufacturers also provide spare parts for low prices. A user friendly and affordable online store is:
